Energy: Power over all?

Not only is Producville’s electricity produced by coal and natural gas fueled power plants, with all of the pollution and health risks that that entails, it is also centralized. It is none other than Mr Hookandcrook who is in charge of the power plant!
Because he has mood swings, he sometimes cuts off the electric current just to feel like he is top banana, or because he is in a bad mood that day, or because someone asked him to do so for money . He loves feeling important and knowing that the people of Producville need him on a daily basis. Also, everyone must pay for this energy at the price that he, the boss, decides…
Here in Nounourtaland, it is the complete opposite! Everyone has his own solar energy production system…no electric lines, no power plants, no bills, no dependence…
